A PAIR OF LARGE AND IMPRESSIVE SEVRES STYLE GILT BRONZE MOUNTED PORCELAIN URNS, 19TH CENTURY.Each side of the large cobalt blue ovoid form vases centered with a large cartouche encircled with raised gilt enameled scrolling, the obverse finely painted with an 18th century style musical courting scene and the verso painted with an expansive landscape, signed E. Collot. Resting on heavy gilt bronze bases set with laurel wreaths and the shoulders mounted with impressive gilt bronze female torso handles below domed lids surmounted with gilt-bronze pinecone finials. Stunning! Height 42.5 inches (108 cm). Apparently unmarked.
