A LARGE AND IMPESSIVE GEORGE IV SILVER SOUP TUREEN, MARKS OF WILLIAM ELLIOT, LONDON 1824. Of squat elongated bulbous form finely repousse and chased with fruit and foliage decoration on a "pounced" ground raised on four scrolled bracket feet below a conforming cover engraved with two coats of arms and surmounted with a finely sculpted and tooled eagle's head finial. The interior with removable silver liner. Length 16 inches (40.5 cm). Height 11.75 inches (30 cm). Weight approximately 162.20 troy ounces.
