A VERY FINE 19TH CENTURY GERMAN OR AUSTRIAN SILVER AND CRYSTAL BASKET CENTERPIECE.Of corseted form and flared shaped rim with repousse cartouches of winged cupids. Surrounding rose blossoms and reticulate foliates raised on a reticulated foliate foot rim containing a conforming cut crystal insert below a bail handle with repousse cupids in three cartouches. Stamped with worn, indistinct hallmarks. Total height 15.5 inches (39.9 cm), weight (silver) 30.48 troy ounces.
