AN ENGLISH TIFFANY & CO. “RAT TAIL” (HANOVERIAN) STERLING FLATWARE SERVICE, MID-20TH CENTURY.40 pieces comprising eight three-tine forks, seven salad forks, six teaspoons, two tablespoons (serving spoons), one gravy ladle, one pierced serving fork, and nine "old French" pistol handle knives. Each stamped with lion passant, uncrowned leopard head, various date letters (1956-1959), and maker’s mark “T & Co.” contained in a later fitted case. Total silver weight approximately 52.68 troy ounces.
