AN EXTREMELY FINE ITALIAN RENAISSANCE REVIVAL CARVED WALNUT ARMOIR/VESTMENT CABINET, 18TH/19TH CENTURY. Of rectangular form below a shaped overhanging cornice, each panel profusely carved all over with a complex scene of animated figures, assorted creatures and foliage in deep relief, including a multitude of winged cherubs heads, angel musicians, neoclassic figures and suckling infants with two looking glass paneled doors framed with gothic arch overlays. Height 90 inches (228.5 cm), width 64 inches (162.5 cm), depth 22 inches (56 cm).
