A FRENCH SEVRES STYLE PORCELAIN AND EBONIZED SLANT FRONT DESK, LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY.The slant front surmounted with a large oval hand-painted porcelain plaque depicting two young beauties and cupids flanked by two hand-painted porcelain roundels within a foliate cast scalloped frame opening to reveal a rosewood interior with stationary sections and three drawers, raised on a bombe shaped base with sabre form legs and gilt bronze mounts. Height 36.5 inches (93 cm), width 26.25 inches (66.5 cm), depth 18 inches (46 cm).
