A PAIR OF RUSSIAN ICON TRIPTYCH WINGS, MOSCOW, END OF THE 17TH CENTURY.  The shaped panels once forming the left and right hinged wing of a larger triptych. The upper sections painted with the Annunciation scene and below each panel divided in two sections and painted with a half-length image of a martyr saint including The Holy Martyr Eudoxious (upper left) and below, the Holy Martyr Ekaterina. On the upper right, St. Pamphilius and below St. Neonilla. Each overlaid with a later silvered metal repousse riza. Clearly echoing the Moscow Armory School, especially Simon Ushakov and Theodore Zubov. Each 11.5 inches x 3.25 inches (29 x 8.2 cm).
