A LARGE AND IMPRESSIVE PAIR OF CONTINENTAL SILVER RENAISSANCE STYLE FIGURAL CANDELABRA, 19TH CENTURY.  Each modeled as a classical standing man and woman carrying urns below six scrolled foliate form candle arms with bell flower brackets and conical socket terminals with embossed palmettes, the figures raised on a squared plinth bordered with lappets and laurels above sculpted winged eagle form feet. Stamped on base with indistinct country standard, makers cartouche "V.S.H." and later Austrian import marks. Height 26.25 inches (67 cm), weight 346 troy oz.
