A RUSSIAN SILVER-GILT AND SHADED ENAMELED KOVSH, MARIA SEMENOVA, MOSCOW, 1896-1908. Highly stylized form with shaded enamel of scrolling foliage and the long hook handle similarly decorated. Hallmarked Moscow circa 1896-1908, Cyrillic maker's mark MS for Maria Semenova, and 84 silver standard. Length 4.25 inches (11 cm).
