AN INTERESTING RUSSIAN SILVER AND CHAMPLEVÉ ENAMEL CIGARETTE CASE, MOSCOW 1882.  The cylindrical form with ornately enameled medallions on both sides, the front with engraved cartouche displaying a three letter monogram, the end caps also similarly enameled and the interior brightly gilded. Hallmarked Moscow, dated 1882, with indistinguishable maker's mark and 84 silver standard. Length 3.5 inches (9 cm).
