THREE RUSSIAN LACQUER BOXES, PALEKH, 1920S-30S. The first decorated with an early Soviet scene of horse mounted Red Army soldiers, signed and dated Palekh, 1932, artist signed "A. Bakanov". The second painted with a deer, signed and dated Palekh, 1925 and artist signed "G.Bakanov". The third depicting a sleeping shepherd with flock, signed and dated Palekh, 1930, with indistinct artist signature. The largest diameter 4 inches (10 cm).
