A FINE ART NOUVEAU STYLE RUSSIAN ICON OF SAINT JOHN THE BAPTIST, CIRCA 1900. Realistically rendered against an ornate incised gilt ground with faux jeweled halo and inscribed on the lower margin within a rectangular cartouche, "THE HOLY JOHN THE FORERUNNER." In excellent condition. 12.25 inches x 10.5 inches (31 x 26.5 cm).
