A PAIR OF BRONZE BYZANTINE CROSSES, 8TH-11TH CENTURIES. The first a large pectoral cross with flared arms and the apices with circular reserves with engraved edges and the front set with four shallow reserves, the surface with faint traces of gilding and with suspension loop at top with hatch engraved surface. Height 4 inches (10 cm). Together with a bronze encolpion cross with swivel type suspension loop at top. Length 2.7 inches (6.7 cm).
