A FABERGÉ SILVER-GILT AND NEPHRITE PICTURE FRAME, MICHAEL PERCHIN, ST. PETERSBURG, CIRCA 1890. The outer edge with repeating tulip head pattern encompassing a polished translucent nephrite border and the joined corners with rope twist braces and with beaded inner aperture set with beveled glass. Verso with integral folding suspension loop and geometric form strut. Hallmarked St. Petersburg, circa 1890, and with Cyrillic workmaster's initials "MP," 84 silver standard, and scratched inventory number 43558. 5.3 inches x 4.1 inches (13.5 x 10.5 cm).
