A FINE RUSSIAN ICON TRIPTYCH, MSTERA, CIRCA 1800. At center a finely painted icon of St. Nicholas against a multi-colored graduated background beneath the Kazan Mother of God, painted in a trefoil arch reserve, and the wings with Saints Kosmos and Damien, together with John Chrysostom and Mary of Egypt. Contained in a substantial gilt-metal folding frame with latching device on top. 6.5 inches x 9.5 inches (16.5 x 24 cm) open.
