A RUSSIAN ICON OF THE CRUCIFIXION, 19TH CENTURY. At center an inset cast brass and enameled crucifix with family saints on the left and right lower margin, including St. Valentina, St. Liubov, and John the Forerunner. In the upper left the removal from the cross, and upper right the placement in the tomb. 14 inches x 12.25 inches (36 x 31 cm).
