A PAIR OF RUSSIAN CARVED WOODEN ICON TRIPTYCH FRAMES, ATTRIBUTED TO VASILY VORNOSKOV, CIRCA 1900. Each of carved, stained, and polished wood, and the central panel of each set with an earlier cast brass icon beneath a carved overhanging arch. The largest 10.75 inches x 14.25 inches (27 x 36.5 cm) open, the smaller of the two 9.25 inches x 13.25 inches (23.5 x 33.5 cm) open.
