A FRENCH GILT SPELTER AND BLACK MARBLE FIGURAL CLOCK GARNITURE, EARLY 20TH CENTURY. The crystal regulator in an ornate gilt spelter case with floral decorated porcelain dial, and surmounted with an urn and floral form finial flanked beside a large patinated metal figure of Cupid raised on a black marble plinth, accompanied with matching urn shaped garniture with ram's head handles. The dial inscribed "Ovington France." Height 19.25 inches (49 cm).
