AN ATTRACTIVE RUSSIAN ICON OF CHRIST, LATE 19TH CENTURY IN THE 15TH CENTURY RENAISSANCE STYLE.  Overlaid with 17th century repoussé basma and with a halo from the first part of the 20th century in the 15th century style. 11.2 inches x 9.75 inches (28.5 x 25 cm).
