A PAIR OF CHALICES, PROBABLY 19TH CENTURY. One Orthodox, one Latin. The cup of one engraved with the Diesis and bearing 84 silver standard for Moscow, possibly spurious. The other less ornate and apparently unmarked. Heights 9.75 inches and 10.25 inches (24.5 and 26 cm). Together with a metal gospel cover depicting Saints Peter and Paul on the front and Apostle Andrew on the verso, most likely last quarter of the 20th century. 9.75 inches x 7.25 inches (25.3 x 19 cm).
