A MATCHING RUSSIAN SILVER-GILT AND CLOISONNÉ ENAMELED SUGAR BOX AND TEA CADDY, KHLEBNIKOV, MOSCOW, CIRCA 1890. Each of octagonal form, the panels divided with raised ropework borders surrounding cloisonné enameled stylized foliage on alternating solid enamel and stippled gilt grounds. The interiors brightly gilded, and the sugar box being of slightly larger size. Each marked Moscow circa 1890, and with the Cyrillic maker's mark Khlebnikov beneath the Imperial Warrant and with 84 silver standard. Greatest height 4.6 inches (12 cm).
