A RUSSIAN ICON OF CHRIST AS THE LORD ALMIGHTY, MOSCOW, 1892. Overlaid with a machine engraved silver-gilt riza hallmarked Moscow, dated 1892, with Cyrillic maker's mark Ye.K, 84 silver standard and with a probably later added silver-gilt and cloisonne enameled halo bearing Moscow hallmarks and Cyrillic maker's mark VA. Contained in a glazed oak shadowbox kiot frame with gilt decorated carved liner. The icon 7 inches x 6 inches (18 x 15 cm), overall including kiot 10.25 inches x 8.8 inches (26 x 22.2 cm).
