A FINE OUTDOOR 1/2 PLATE CASED DAGUERREOTYPE OF A FLOURMILL, HAMILTON, OHIO FOR ERWIN, HUNTER AND ERWIN MILL COMPANY, CIRCA 1846. Probably by Fontayne and Porter. Depicting the early Ohio flour mill in a well detailed and exposed sharp image, contained within a stippled gilt metal mat with embossed leather covered wood hinged case. Note: The Flour Mill was destroyed by a fire and rebuilt in 1846. This image probably was taken shortly after construction was completed. 4.75 inches x 6 inches closed.
