FOUR CASED DAGUERROETYPE PORTRAITS, EARLY TO MID 19TH CENTURY. Comprising a very fine 1/4 plate daguerreotype image of two well dressed young men in a well exposed and sharp image with penned paper inscription identifying them as " Frederick M. Russell and Sylvester Barrett, Ridgeway Orleans County NY- Frederick age 25 years, Sylvester age 20 years, taken in Medina (New York) Oct. 1855" and contained in an embossed leather case; a 1/4 plate daguerreotype portrait of Frederick M. Russell with penned paper inscription " Frederick M. Russell, Ridgeway Orleans County, New York, Age 21 years, 9th/51 taken in Albion, a 1/9th plate image of a young girl, and a 1/16th plate image of a bearded man.
