AN AMBROTYPE AND TINTYPE CASED IMAGE GROUP, MID 19TH CENTURY, eight images, comprising a 1/4 plate ambrotype portrait of a young man seated on a chair, a fine 1/4 plate tintype of a woman in 3/4 pose with a classical style urn; a 1/4 plate tintype of a woman contained in a fine embossed thermoplastic frame with tooled gilt mat; a 1/6th plate tintype of a bearded man in suit; an interesting horizontal 1/6th plate tintype of a lounging man reading a book and smoking a pipe; a 1/6th plate tintype of a baby contained in a "geometric" union case (ref. 3-69) a hand tinted 1/9th plate tintype of a mother and child; and a small circular tintype (photo button) of a young immigrant in a screw capped union case.
