A GROUP OF 27 AMBROTYPE AND TINTYPE IMAGES, MID 20TH CENTURY. Comprising two fine 1/6th plate cased ambrotype portraits, each of a young gentleman and with hand tinted features, a 1/6th plate ambrotype of two young girls (cover absent); a 1/2 plate tintype of a well dressed young boy seated (some losses); a 1/6th plate tintype of an elderly women(cover absent), a fine 1/9th plate tintype of a gentleman with goatee' and hat in a "geometric" union case(ref. 3-261) together with twenty 1/9th plate ambrotype and tintypes with gilt surrounds and mats (mostly uncased or missing covers) of typical portraits of men or women with some couples.
