A FINE RUSSIAN SILVER COIN BOX, ST. PETERSBURG, 19TH CENTURY. The rectangular box with rounded corners, the sides and hinged lid set with various world coins. The background and borders chased with scrolling foliage, the base engraved with strapwork, florals and Cyrillic monogram ???. The interior gilded and hallmarked St. Petersburg, Cyrillic makers mark ФК, and with 84 standard. Length 5 inches, depth 3.25 inches, height 1.6 inches (12.7cm, 8.5cm, 4cm). Gross weight 14.44 troy ounces (449 grams).
