A LARGE CHINESE CARVED IVORY QUAN YIN, 20TH CENTURY. The naturally curved tusk shape finely carved in the round depicting the standing figure of Quan Yin holding a blossoming lotus branch in her right hand and potted lotus in the left. Adorned in a partially pierced flowing gown. Height 20.5 inches (52 cm) including fitted wood plinth. Weight 3 pounds, 12 ounces (1,704 grams).
