A LARGE & IMPRESSIVE CHINESE CARVED IVORY FIGURE, LATE QING DYNASTER/EARLY REPUBLIC PERIOD. The expertly carved and highly detailed figure of a Chinese parrot atop a rockery outcropping amidst large flowering lotus blossoms on carved branches. Fitted on a carved rosewood plinth. Total height 16 inches (40.5 cm).
