A RUSSIAN ICON OF ST. SERGEI RADONEZHSKIY, 17TH/18TH CENTURY. Depicted here at right in monastic garb and with the Monastery he founded in the background and above its namesake-“The Holy Trinity”. Such icons were often acquired by the multitude of pilgrims who made their way to the long standing bastion of faith located North East of Moscow for now over 500 years. 12 inches x 10 inches (30.5 x 25 cm)
