A VERY FINE NEPHRITE JADE, GOLD AND MARCASITE MOUNTED LETTER KNIFE, EARLY 20TH CENTURY, PROBABLY FRENCH. Art deco influence of evenly toned deep green semi-translucent nephrite jade of flat elongated form with tapering point and modified pommel in unmarked yellow gold mounted as a marcasite jeweled monogram with the letters JF de MG. Length 12.75 inches (32 cm).
