A RUSSIAN SILVER, GOLD AND SHADED ENAMEL CIGARETTE CASE, 6TH ARTEL, MOSCOW 1908-1917. The hinged lid enameled with a Boyar in an idyllic landscape and set with a gold 10 ruble coin dated 1899 with rope twist bordered bezel and encircled with gemstones.  Both sides entirely enameled in the Pan Slavic taste depicting scrolling foliage and geometric designs, and with purple cabochon thumbpiece.  Hallmarked Moscow 1908-1917, the mark for the 6th Artel 6MA, and 84 standard. Length 4.25 inches (11 cm).
