A RUSSIAN SILVER-GILT AND SHADED ENAMEL FIGURAL KOVSH, MOSCOW 1899-1908. The body in the form of a rooster and overall decorated in colorful shaded enamel feathers against a cream ground with similarly enameled tail and head set with ruby cabochon eyes and resting on silver-gilt feet and hook prop and the interior gilded. Hallmarked Moscow, 1899-1908, indistinguishable makers mark and 88 silver standard. Length 3.25 inches (8.7cm).
