A VERY FINE JAPANESE SHIBAYAMA STYLE CARVED IVORY TABLE SCREEN, MEIJI PERIOD. The four panel hinged screen with silver mounts finely decorated with inlaid cockerel, Asiatic pheasant and floral blossom motifs carved in various colored hardstones, coral tortoise shell and mother of pearl, the verso with wind swept loose leaves and petals. Signed with oval cartouche lower right. Height 9.5 inches (24.1 cm), length 15.25 inches (38.7 cm).
