A RUSSIAN SILVER GILT AND CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL CIGARETTE CASE, KHLEBNIKOV, MOSCOW, 1884. The rectangular body with rounded corners and both sides profusely enameled with strapwork and scrolling foliage and with rope twist borders. One side with silver medallion cartouche for engraving (blank). The interior brightly gilded and stamped with Cyrillic makers mark of KHLEBNIKOV beneath the Imperial Warrant, dated 1884, hallmarked Moscow and 84 standard. Length 3.75 inches (9.5 cm)
