AN IMPRESSIVE FABERGE SILVER COVERED BOX, MOSCOW, 1895. The large and impressive box exquisitely modeled in the Rococo taste. The body with scroll and shell work and with florals and cattails. The banded reed rim supporting an oval form domed lid with floral sprig finial. The interior gilded. Hallmarked Moscow, 88 standard, dated 1895 and marked K FABERGE in Cyrillic beneath the Imperial Warrant, and with scratched inventory number 5569. Exquisite! Width 6.2 inches, height 5 inches (15.5 x 12.8 cm)
