AN IMPERIAL RUSSIAN PORTRAIT MINIATURE OF TSAR ALEXANDER II, 19th century, probably after Alois Gustav Rochstuhl (1798-1877). Facing right and with gold collar, epaulettes and wearing the breast star and blue sash of the order of St. Andrew. Reverse painted and transfer decorated on glass and contained in a period carved and gilt wood frame. Diameter of image 2.25 inches (5.5 cm) overall 6 inches (15 cm)
