A LARGE RUSSIAN SILVER-GILT AND CLOISONNÉ ENAMELED JEWEL CASKET, OVCHINNIKOV, MOSCOW, 1908-1917.  Of traditional form on bracket feet, the rectangular box with hinged trunk shape lid. Overall enameled with scrolling foliage and flower heads on a gilt ground with hinged handles and clasp. Hallmarked Moscow, 1908-1917, with Cyrillic maker's mark of "P.OVCHINNIKOV" and 84 silver standard. Width 5 inches (12.2 cm).
