A LARGE RUSSIAN ICON TRIPTYCH OF THE MOTHER OF GOD AND SAINTS, 18TH CENTURY. At center, an image of the Mother of God of the Unfading Flower beneath the Old Testament Trinity painted within an ogee arched reserve. The hinged left wing with a depiction of the Holy Andre, Archbishop of Crete, and the right wing with the Holy Great Martyr George the Victorious. With original surface paint and handmade hardware and with old Soviet collection inventory numbers on verso. 14 inches x 18 inches (36 x 46 cm) open.
