AN EXCEPTIONAL GILT AND ENAMELED DEVOTIONAL CRUCIFIX, PROBABLY FRENCH, 20TH CENTURY. Resting on a trefoil base with raised reticulated sides set with faux pearls and the base with Rococo decorative elements set with three amethyst cabochons and supporting an elaborate cross form with filigree borders set with seed pearls and the terminating cross ends with amethyst cabochons. At center, a gilt Corpus Christi mounted on the blue enameled cross with painted gilt decorative border. The verso heavily engraved and set with rosettes. Height 8.1 inches (20.5 cm).
