AN FINE EARLY NORWEGIAN POLYCHROME WOOD CORNER CUPBOARD WITH ROSEMALING, DATED 1794. The three-sided wall hanging cabinet with wild rose floral painted recessed panels at each side, on a dark bluish-green ground, with a single centered door, opening to reveal two shelves and below a secret sliding hidden panel for additional storage. The doorframe top inscribe "A.H.S.R." and the center frame with worn faint date "1794." Height 54.75 inches, width 27 inches, depth 18 inches (138.5 x 68.5 x 46 cm).
