A GREAT HALL TRESSEL DINING TABLE AND SIDE CHAIRS IN THE SCANDINAVIAN TASTE, EARLY 20TH CENTURY. The thickly slabbed table supported by a tressel base joined with pegged tenon stretchers decorated in forest green with pale green accents and with eight high-backed side chairs, each with stylized floral and laurel swag decoration below a different armorial crest on each chair. The table length 9 feet (173 cm), width 42 inches (107 cm), height 32.5 inches (82 cm), The chairs 44 inches high (104 cm), width 22.5 inches (57 cm) .

Provenance:

Phillip Wrigley (Wrigley Chewing Gum Company) where it was used in the Norway Pavillion Building which Wrigley purchased after the World's Fair, and later donated by the Wrigley Estate to Little Norway Museum.
