A BRONZE MODEL OF THE OSBERG VIKING SHIP, FRANCIS DITTMAR (NORWEGIAN, 20TH CENTURY), CIRCA 1926. Fully detailed with dragon head at the bow, tail at the stern, seats, shields, oars, rudder and tiller, square rigged sail, and mast with twisted wire rigging. Displayed on a bronze stand with the inscription in English "The Osberg Ship, Norse Viking Longship, 10th Century" and in the ancient Nordic Runes language, "In Memory of Leif Erikson. Thousand and One Nineteen Hundred Twenty-Six." Dimensions of model on stand 30 inches x 8 inches x 21 inches (76.2 x 20.3 c 53.3 cm) model on stand.
