A VICTORIAN SILVER PRESENTATION SALVER. Edward I, Edward II, John and William Barnard, London 1831 of circular form the raised scalloped rim sculpted with floral bouquets surrounding a finely chased a floral and scallop ground with engraved cavetto inscribed "Presented to Sir George Nagler Carter King of Arms, Knight of the Royal Hanoverian Guelphic Order..." and with additional inscriptions and devices. Stamped hallmarks include maker's mark, lion passant, uncrowned leopards head, date letter, and Sovereign's head. Diameter 20.5 inches (52 cm). Weight 98.2 troy oz.
