A JAPANESE CARVED IVORY OKIMONO MODEL OF A SKULL Meiji Period, the well sculpted and realistically carved human skull in two sections, the cranium with deeply recessed eye sockets, nasal cavity, detailed suture lines, texture and well defined teeth resting on a separate carved mandible displayed on a fitted carved hardwood stand with inset ivory signed chop mark. The skull-2.5 inches (6.5 cm) tall and 4.125 (10.4 cm) inches tall overall.
