A 46 PIECE IMPERIAL RUSSIAN GILDED SILVER DINNERWARE SET, NICHOLS AND PLINKE, ST. PETERSBURG, CIRCA 1815. Comprising 12 teaspoons, 11 soup spoons, 12 forks, and 11 knives. The finial with inverted clamshell and each engraved with a coat of arms bearing the Imperial Double-Headed Eagle beneath a Royal Crown. Each hallmarked St. Petersburg, Cyrillic assayer initials АЯ and the knives stamped with Latin makers mark of Court silversmiths Nichols and Plinke. Total weight 51.64 troy ounces.
