A FINE CHINESE CARVED WHITE JADE FIGURAL GROUP OF COCKERELS, QING DYNASTY. Well carved with excellent detail including incised plumage depicting an autumnal scene of two cockerel and chrysanthemums in full reticulation with well polished interstices and russet highlights. Displayed on a carved and fitted hardwood stand. Length 4.75 inches (12 cm). Provenance: purchased by the current owner's father at Parke-Bernet, circa 1949
