A VERY FINE CHINESE MING DYNASTY GILT AND PATINATED BRONZE SAKYAMUNI BUDDHA, YONGLE MARK AND OF THE PERIOD. Depicting the seated deity his left hand in Dyana Asana meditation, his right hand in bhumisparshamudra, his face with auspicious expression, wearing a cassock, seated upon a lotus base. Double fish “Yin-Yang” incised on bottom cover, the verso embossed with six character reign mark. Height 12 inches (30.5 cm).
