A LARGE AND IMPRESSIVE SEVRES STYLE PORCELAIN AND GILT BRONZE HANDLED CENTER COUPE, 19TH CENTURY. The demilune oval shaped porcelain coupe with hand painted scene of figures playing a game within a raised enameled gilt cartouche inscribed Le Bezze. The verso with mountainous lake scene, flanked by gilt bronze handles of scrolled acanthus raised on a cobalt glazed and gilt enameled foot pedestal above a shaped gilt bronze plinth with sculpted acanthus medallions. The base with spurious Sevres style interlaced mark in blue overglaze. Height 18.5 inches (47 cm), length 26.25 inches (66.5 cm).
