A VERY FINE SCANDINAVIAN MINIATURE SILVER MODEL OF A TALL CASE CLOCK, IN THTE RENAISSANCE TASTE. Finely sculpted and tooled with the bonnet surmounted by a figure of Atlas holding a globe above a finely scenic painted porcelain dial with a gilt movement (circa 1750) featuring a finely engraved and reticulate bridge type clock and makers name partially obscured, held within a later tall case raised on a scenic embossed Bombe form base with claw feet. Stamped Netherlands fineness marks after 1814 and maker’s mark JDH. Height 10.5 inches (26.5 cm).
